The list of the nominees for the Screen Actors Guild Awards, for the best work of 2008 is out and our very favorite show ‘Samantha Who?’ is being represented by the sexy and gorgeous lady Christina Applegate who has been nominated for the Best Actress in a TV Comedy Series
Yeahhh !!! Good news no? Well she was nominated last year as well, I heard that.
This role really has worked up quite well for her it seems.
Other then this, she was nominated for Golden Globes 2008 Best Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical – for this same role and also Teen Choice Awards 2008 Choice TV Actress: Comedy besides the famous Emmy Award 2008 Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series Television Critics Association Awards 2008 Individual Achievement in Comedy.

And the best has been saved for the last.
Yes, the exciting thing is that Christina Applegate has also been nominated for the Golden Globes 2009 Best Actress in a Television Series - Comedy or Musical.
OMG !!! How much I really want her to win Man !!!

For the best drama actor Hugh Laurie (House), Michael C. Hall (Dexter), Jon Hamm (Mad Men) and William Shatner and James Spader (Boston Legal) appear on the list.
In the female category, Holly Hunter (Saving Grace), Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) Elisabeth Moss for Mad Men, Sally Field for Brothers & Sisters and Mariska Hargitay for Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
Tough competition is not just restricted to the drama but comedy series as well.
Let’s check out the males first. Alec Baldwin (30 Rock), Jeremy Piven (Entourage), Tony Shalhoub (Monk), Steve Carell (The Office) and David Duchovny (Californication)
And the ladies competing with our favorite Christina are Tina Fey (30 Rock), Mary-Louise Parker (Weeds, America Ferrera (Ugly Betty), Tracey Ullman joins this year for Tracey Ullman’s State of the Union.
