Samantha accompanies her parents on a trip to Las Vegas. There she ends up playing heavily at the at the craps table in a club. As a result she faces serious financial problems after losing a large amount of money and becoming indebted to the casino.
Later, she has a chance meeting with her former boss Winston Funk, who is a billionaire and is in the city at the same time as Sam. It however, remains to be seen whether Funk will pull Sam out of her financial mess.
Meanwhile, Dena asks Andrea to grant her a big favor. Andrea agrees to help Dena on the condition, that Dena fakes a situation which will help Andrea boost her sagging public approval ratings and thus improve her image in the media. Also Andrea plans her upcoming wedding to the basketball player Tony Dane.
The episode featured guest star Billy Zane as Winston Funk.
