Sam’s desperation to regain her memories leads her to taking the advice of Dr. Adams about participating in a clinical trial. During the trial, Sam is supposed to take some pills which help people with a memory loss. Soon, Sam begins to regain multiple fragments of her lost memory.
However, Sam is not happy with what she is remembering about her past life as all the memories reveal her to be a really bad human being. However, she also learns about a pleasant memory that could have made a difference for the better in her life.
Meanwhile, Andrea and Dena are mistaken to be a gay couple by someone and this infuriates Andrea. She then starts to hunt for a woman who is hotter and sexier than Dena, in order to prove that she can hook up with someone who is much better looking than Dena.
The episode featured Tony Hale in the guest role of Dr. Adams.
