Samantha’s father Howard reintroduces himself, and mother Regina, to Samantha when she wakes up from a dream which recalls the events of the pilot episode.  Samantha returns to work for the first time since the accident and discovers that she was a ruthless and competitive employee which shocks the “new version” of Samantha.
