Dena is Samantha’s childhood friend. She is also another one who wants to take advantage of Sam’s amnesia to get in her touch once again, as she was not on taking terms with her since seventh grade. When Sam comes out of coma, Dena convinces her that she’s her closest friend. Though, Sam’s best friend Andrea unveils the truth. Eventually Sam decides to remain Dena’s friend. Dena is shown living alone along with her two dogs.

Life and Career- She is an American actress, best known for her roles as Sookie St. James in “Gilmore Girls” and as Dena on “Samantha Who?” She is cousin of actress Jenny McCarthy. She actually started her career with stand-up comedy. Later on, she landed into film, television and theatre projects. She has played small roles in films like “Charlie’s Angels”, “Go”, “The Kid”, “The Third Wheel” and “The Life of David Gale”. As per her stand-up comedy credits, she is the member of Los Angeles based “Groundlings Improvisational Comedy Troupe”.
In 2007 she appeared in John August’s movie “The Nines” opposite Ryan Reynolds. She is married to her long time boy friend Ben Falcone since October 8, 2005. They are parents of a daughter. Currently, she can be seen in “Samantha Who?” as Samantha’s friend Dena.
