Breaking news! Sam is not gonna leave the screen so soon. Even the WGA Writer’s strike couldn’t halt its production. Moreover, the positive reviews and the popularity of the show have insisted the network to show green signal to the some more episodes. The show has been renewed for 2008-2009 season by the network. The show has just come down with the second season last month. These few aired episodes have dragged in such a huge number of viewers that the network couldn’t ignore it.

After encountering last Monday’s (10^th of November) episode’s high rankings, the network announced on this Friday that Samantha is not gonna say bye yet. They have ordered for some more episodes.

Hold your heart! Now I must inform you that this episode “Help” has attracted around 10.5 million viewers. It has earned 2.8 ratings in the 18-49 adult demographic. As another icing on the cake, with a come back with season two, the show has left “Two and Half Men” being the second most watched comedy. So undoubtedly, at present, Sam is ruling at number one throne. I wish it will remain on the same heights in the next year as well.

Aside from this hard core data of viewer ship and ratings, I am personally a huge fan of this show. This is the perfect entertainment dose and I regret why weekly! It should air on daily basis. I can only soothe my heart by a saying that ‘eat your favorite dish steadily; it will double the pleasure’. So I hope that even if it will reach to me after one week, it will consistently entertain me. Off course, it will help me making a strong bond with the show. In fact it’s true for all the fans.

Our love has helped it to come this far, so keep blogging and commenting to demand more and more of Samantha. I am sure even the network people can’t resist the magic.

The Emmy Award nominated Samantha is back with another humorous season of “Samantha Who?” What a rocking opening! It was just unimagined. Who can expect that a vice president of a real estate firm can dance along with her mother in a dance competition? She did exactly so, for the sake of her mother’s jealousy. She wanted to beat her old rival in dance competitions and for this she took advantage of Sam‘s amnesia once again. Though, she couldn’t succeed entirely, but Sam truly became her victim once again. This episode is much funnier in comparison to the previous season’s episodes.

I laughed hard at Sam’s dance steps and at the same moment her mother’s expressions. She forgot completely that Sam is not the old Sam, and she can’t dance. Still, she successfully used her for one more purpose. Nevertheless, “Dancing with the Stars” fame Cybill Shepherd was absolutely like a pleasant surprise for me.

This season also added James Tupper from “Men in Trees” to the cast, but in a different context. He played a philanthropist. To be very honest, I still found “Dancing with the Stars” chunk as incredible and any other addition couldn’t become attraction for me.

Moreover, my ever existing attraction Samantha was there, and nobody can distract me from her. She’s absolutely, what we call an entertainer. Her looks, her acting, her voice and her style everything prompts you to say oooh la la! In fact she’s the temptation of youngsters which made “Samantha Who?” the most watched show in the very beginning.

From May to October, it was a pretty long wait to watch her in act. Finally this wait paid back well. Things have got more spiced up in this season. Though, I liked that all frequent changes in the first season finale as well, except one. I want to see Todd and Sam together once again. I believe that they should remain a couple contrary to the recent episode “Help”, where Todd is shown not so interested in Sam. Despite this fact, people around him too want him with Sam, just like I wish. Let’s see now if wishes come true or not.

I said it really helped, because this episode earned highest ratings among the season two episodes aired till now. Although in this episode, Sam is badly in need of help, but this episode helped the show to win network guys’ hearts. It was because of high ratings of this particular episode that ABC has ordered for some more episodes for 2008-2009 season. This is one of the few new shows this year which are in their first or second seasons and have succeeded to extend with a few more episodes.

Anyways, let’s come back the basic point and that is episode “Help”. It was obvious for this episode to earn such high rankings and sound number of viewers. In this episode, Sam gets in a series of uninvited and unexpected troubles.

First of all, she gets into fight with a cop in traffic, and he gives her a damn good punishment. He sentences her with hours of community service. Well, angelic Sam initially takes it as her pleasure. But lately this soul soothing job turns a bit sour, when she tries to help a rebellious girl named Natalie.

Poor Sam believes that everybody can transform into a good person like happened to her. She forgets that she changed due to amnesia and she doesn’t remember her true personality. On the other hand, Natalie has totally different intentions for her. She wants Sam to be the old Sam. Now efforts of both ladies create funny situations.

All nears and dears of Sam advice her to not to do anything for Natalie. But Sam is Sam and she is obsessed to do something good Natalie. Consequently, she steps down in the battle field. She wants to make Natalie a respectable person in society instead of an obstinate thief. On the contrary, Natalie leaves no stone behind in exasperating Sam’s dear ones. Meanwhile, Sam arranges a job interview for Natalie, and no need to tell what could have happened. You guys are smart enough.

Aside from this, Todd receives advice from Howard, Sam’s father regarding winning Sam back, though Todd doesn’t seem interested. It will be pleasant surprise for me if they reunite in further episodes. Wait and watch.

“Samantha Who?” is an Emmy award winning sitcom airing on ABC network, which premiered on October 15, 2007. The story is about a thirty year old lady named Samantha. Friends and family call her Sam and Christina Applegate is portraying the character. She is the vice president of a real estate firm. She slips into coma after a hit and run accident. When she wakes up after eight days, she is suffering from retrograde amnesia. All nears and dears try to remind her about old life, but of no avail. By this, she realizes that how cruel she was to everybody in her past life. So, she decides to make over her mistakes in the past. Nonetheless, many people around her take equal advantage of her amnesia to rebuild their relationship with her. Among them are her mother and her childhood friend Dena. Her ex-boyfriend Todd too takes an advantage and kicks off an affair with her once again.

Sam had ditched Todd for a married man before the accident. Todd moves in with her in her apartment. She also encounters many of her previous romantic affairs and suitors as well. These continuous events and her circumstances spark humor on the show. The show came back with its second season on 10^th of October, 2008.
